I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as most of you don’t know me on a personal level. I graduated in the 90’s from college with a degree in Animal Science. This means I spent four years studying Animal Science at the University level. I took a particular interest in genetics and reproduction. I had a mentor that was one of my college professors and he shared his many years of vast knowledge in raising and training Labs with me. My husband and I began raising, training, breeding, and studying Labradors Retrievers in 1996. Our love for the breed as well as God’s blessings have allowed us to continue breeding and training for over 27 years. It’s my humble opinion that there’s not a better breed to work with! I’ve continued studying and learning more about the breed and breeding practices as they have changed vastly over the years. I don’t claim to know everything about breeding or even everything about Labradors Retrievers. But I do have a lot of knowledge on the breed and apply it to my everyday interactions as well as the pairing of our Labs for breeding. I say all of this to say every breeding and pairing is carefully selected in order to produce a sound, healthy, well rounded and dual purpose dog. One that will easily fit in to your family unit as a companion that also has the desire to retrieve and work for you as the breed is intended and was established to do.
